Installing CCS 5.2 on Windows 64 machine?

All:

I have been using a Windows7 laptop that is win32. If another windows7 laptop is win64, are there any installation issues?

i.e., can the CCS5.2.0.00069_win32.zip be used for a windows7 win64 install?

Hi Todd,

No issues using win7-64. That is my laptop also. CCSv5 is a 32-bit app but it is fully supported on win7-64.

There are a few potential 'gotchas' though. Most revolve around permissions and UAC. For more info, see:

I have full admin rights to my machine and CCS runs just fine.

Hi Todd,

64 bit is no problem and there is no separate download that you will need!

I actually use Win 7 64 bit myself with that version of CCS.
