CCS5.2.0.00069_linux crash shortly after startup when welcome screen displayed

Hi,

I have a clean install of CCS5.2.0.00069_linux on Scientific Linux 6.1

On first startup with a new workspace - the welcome screen displays briefly before a crash. Opening an existing workspace does not display the welcome screen - and so no crash. (opening the welcome screen from the help menu then leads to a crash)

For what its worth - I believe this is a browser and or flash issue.

A work around is to not open the resource explorer: edit this file

<installdir>\ccsv5\eclipse\plugins\com.ti.ccstudio.branding_5.1.0.201108111000\plugin_customization.ini, and set org.eclipse.ui/showIntro = false.

Yes, it is a known issue. Turning off showIntro is the only workaround for a clean workspace in certain linux settings where a cetain set of browsers cannot work nicely.

SDSCM00044371 is tracking the issue.
