I am having a problem when I try and build/debug my project in CCSv5. The first time that I build and debug the project it works fine, but if I attempt to build/debug a second time, I get a Java Heap error as soon as the build starts. Then it gives me an internal memory error in CCSv5 and forces me to close the workspace. Once I restart CCSv5, it builds/debugs the first time, but not any subsequent attempts. It is as if the allocated memory isn't being freed up when I terminate the debug session. I have inserted a powerpoint file showing the screen shots of the error mesages, and the changes I made to eclipse.ini and ccstudio.ini to increase the memeory space. 0066.Java Heap Error.pptx
Hi Matt,
Sorry for the late reply.
What are the specs of your PC? Specifically RAM and OS.
What exact version of CCSv5 are you using? Provide the full version number (ex. 5.2.1.00018)
Thanks
ki
The specs of your PC look fine. Should have no problem running CCSv5. How big is your project? Can you reproduce this with one of the simple template examples (like hello world)?
