Can I install ARMv4.11 compiler on CCSV5.3 ??

HI guys

I' trying to Import Powerlink stack Project(in sysbios protocols directory) via CCSV5.3

but this error message poped up..

"Error: Import failed for project 'powerlink_stack' because its compiler definition is not available. Please install the ARMv4.11 compiler before importing this project."

does anybody have success with importing this project??

plz help me

    Hi Moonseon,

    without further information let us check some things. 

    - check that you did a ccs import.  Project->Import existing CCS/eclipse project

    - check your installation was installed with ARM support.  You can see what compilers are installed by going to Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->Build->Code generation tools.  Can you send a screen shot or verify you have at least some compiler version installed?

    The above two are important to confirm, but you can also look at things like permissions/antivirus issues/interference.

    of course I import project as you described..

    Hi Moosun,

    what error do you get?  You have many versions of the compiler that appear to be successfully installed.  Do you get asked to migrate the project to a newer compiler version?  Do you need a specific version?

    what version is selected in your project properties?

    Hi again

    I think That Project needs specific version Compiler(ARM v4.11 ??)

    That project is Powerlink protocol Project (am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_1.0.0.5)..not Example project

    and I'm using AM3359 ICE board..

    and Did you see my first Post??

    I'm trying to import 'Powerlink stack Project' but I can't.. so I can't see project properties too..

    and error message from CCSV is that this project needs 'specific version Compiler' ,,

    Hi Moonsun,

    I can only suggest you post in the device forum or go to the people who make the code.  Your CCS installation is fine, you have various ARM compilers installed and for a CCS project, you should have been asked to change the compiler version. 

    They will be better able to help you on this.

    I am also trying to import POWERLINK in ICE_AM3359 board.

    I am getting same error which you mentioned.

    Did you get any solution for that, if it please help me to slove that problem.
