How to use the terminal to debug the C28 on the COncerto using CCS4.2.5

There is a terminal utility in CCS 4.2.5 that I need to use to debug my C28 code on a COncerto F28M35H52C1. I once was able to do this but cannot find the instructions for using the Terminal Window. Can I output to it from my C28 code? How?
