Can anyone help me figure out how to enable/activate this option? Does the processor need to be in a specific state? Is this a special plug-in that I can't find?
Below are my specific stats: (Updating code composer is, unfortunately, not an option).
The Memory Load/Save Utility was supported on only a limited number of devices on CCSv3.3. 54x for sure. I *think* maybe ARM7/9. I don't think 6x was supported.
What device are you using?
ARM9 DM335 is what I am connecting to.
The instructions that I am referencing say that the tools>memory save/load utility needs to be used, and this is the same processor as those test instructions were written for. So I am pretty sure that this is possible, I'm just not sure why I cannot see the option in the tools menu.
Is that it??? You are missing A LOT of plugins. And the one thing you do have is disabled. This looks like a bad install. I'm surprised you got CCS to work at all then if they are truly missing. You may want to try a reinstall.
Yes - that was all of the plugins installed. I would prefer to just try and enable that one plugin if that is possible? Otherwise I'll do the reinstall.

There was a standalone install for the memory utility but that was for CCSv2. After that it came bundled with CCSv3.
I recommend the reinstall because you are missing so many essential plugins. I'm not sure what happened in your case. Do you have a full CCSv3.3 version or some limited eval version (if it came with a kit like a DSK, it is a limited version)
Not sure - what would be the best way to tell if the version is limited or not? Is there a way to tell from the version?
I looked through our eval board kits but didn't see the original CCS 3.3 install disc. I have a few more places to check - I will get back to you if I can find it or not.
Your version number says it is an un-patched version of CCSv3.3. You can try updating to the latest CCSv3.3 SR but really I recommend a full reinstall.
If you registered your copy of CCS, we can look up your info and see what exactly you have.
I found our original install disk with user and service code. Tomorrow I will first try repairing the installation, if that does not work I will do a complete uninstall then reinstall.
I will let you know the results then. (Hopefully resolving this issue!)
The disk I referenced only contains Code Composer Studio 2.X/3.X Drivers for Spectrum Digital Emulators (not the IDE).
Is there any way we can get another CD / Download with code composer 3.3? I believe I found our original service code and username, which I can email you if needed?

Thanks
