Opcode exception when migrated from v3.3 to V5.3

Hi ,

We have multicore DSP system of c6747.

we imported the legacy 3.3 project on to the CCS5.3 version and generated the out put file. When we load that on to the target , we found there is an op ode exception occurring. We dont the exact reason. But the same code is working fine on 3.3 build. That exception occurred in HWI_NMI context.

Note:

When we tried to bypass this exception in the first time , then from second time onwards no exception observed. So in the source we made the changes ignore the exception at first time when hardware bootsup

Please let me know how to find the solution for it.

    Can you elaborate more on:

    Adavappa - as Gautam mentioned, please provide more details. A screenshot of the exception would be useful. Also one suggestion is to use the same version of the compiler that you used with CCSv3.3. This will help reduce the variables to help narrow down the root cause of your issue.
