Hi John,
CCS 4.1 has been released:

Thanks

Ki,
Thanks. The beta install never said a new version was available - just ran it last night too.
Note - I've had 6 posts fail today and have tried without success to update the following:
http://e2e.ti.com/support/general/f/301/t/28205.aspx
I wanted to respond to the question on the 4th - I am obviously still having the same issues.
I am using Firefox 3.5.7.
Thanks,
johnw
The beta releases are not normally upgradable via Update Manager hence why the beta never notified you of an update for 4.1 (release). Actually with 4.1, there is currently no patch update available right now... only a full install.

Ki,
I will update my dev. computer this evening and will report back on how that goes.
I have tried several times to respond to this - and the posts have failed. I am at a loss
to explain why this happens.
I can only imagine that it happens to a lot of others as well.
Is TI sure the developers of the new software don't work for TI's competitors?
Food for thought. I participate in several of these types of forums - and have
yet to see the trouble that has persisted with this forum. Most other boards would
shut down for maintenance if they faced these same issues. In essence, this forum
has been shut down to some degree since communication has to be occuring at a much
slower pace due to all of the bugs (aka - very low bandwidth connection that should
be a very high one).
Regards,
johnw
Agreed. Looks like the forums are struggling with Firefox today. I had to switch to IE just right now because the formatting looked all screwy with FF.
We switched to a whole new forum recently and the administrators are still working out all the bugs. Looks like they still have some more to go. Thanks for alerting the forum admins about your problems. Hopefully they will work out all the issues soon.

Johnw,
We believe this is caused by a bug in the installer tool we're using. Does it succeed if you re-run the install?
