Hardware Trace Analyzer issue

Hi TI guys,

I have some questions regarding Hardware Trace Analyzer of CCSv5.

I tried to use Trace analyzer with XDS100v2 USB Emulator on TMS570MDK.

I have found that CCSv5 have "tool->hardware trace analyzer", but i don't see any analysis functions.

I read "Trace Analyzer User's Guide" from TI.

The document has talked about the configurations are optimized for various types of debugging and profiling.

If I want to use these analysis functions, what should I need ? need license or other emulator?

Hi Josen,

there are many features for which you need an xds560 with trace and a full ccs license.

Thank you for your help.

I have one question about hardware/software analyzer with XDS100v2 USB Emulator!

If i want to use XDS100v2 USB Emulator to analysis operation of functions and i have a free license only,

what features can i use?

I need to check whether the data transfer is correct on TMS570MDK by using CCSv5.
