The XDS510PP+ does in fact work with the C6747 EVM; however, the spectrum driver package does not include a configuration for this specific board. Attached is the board configuration to test out. Just rename it to evmc6747_xds510pp.ccs. If you put at
C:\CCStudio_v3.3\drivers\import
It will show at Custom Boards at CCS Setup.
3x for the attached file. It works perfect for my C6747 system with XDS510 PP PLUS simulator~!!
3x very much!!
It seems to work for me too, but the "view-> registers" command doesn't list the embedded peripherals registers, just the core registers are shown. Is this a limitation of the emulator or is there a way to add them to the list?
Hi Guy,
The peripheral register display is driven by device and module XML files.
This topic as more details if you are interested:

Look at the section on using the Device XML file:
The *.ccs file posted in this thread does not use a Device XML file. Hence no peripheral registers. But I do see that a Device XML file exists for C6747. You can try rebuilding the configuration to use it.
Thanks
ki
Thanks for the pointers, that took care of it.
I attached the updated .ccs file. It also includes the diagnostic field for the emulator (if installed in the "C:\CCStudio_v3.3\specdig\sdconfig" default directory) to help diagnosing connection problems and the .GEL file link provided with the OMAPL-137 evaluation board under "C:\CCStudio_v3.3\boards\evmc6747_v1\gel".
Thanks again,
Guy C
Hi
I want to connect CCSv3.3 to EVMOMAPL137 via XDS510-USB2.0 jtag emulator. but I can't find the "C6747 EVM XDS510USB EMULATOR " among available boards in CCS setup window.
Would you please send me the "C6747 EVM XDS510USB EMULATOR.ccs "or maybe some other useful files ?
Hi
Please reply me and help me if it is possible!
Thanks in advance.
