Hi,
I recently started working with the OMAP L137 EVM and code composer studio. In an effort to learn how to use the DSP/BIOS (5.33) I started going through the tutorial in the DSP/BIOS configuration tool. Unfortunately CCS is giving me some problems:
First off, when I go to create a configuration file for the DSP/BIOS, I go to File->New->DSP/BIOS Configuration, however when I click it nothing happens! This doesn't seem to be a huge deal since I can just open up the DSP/BIOS graphical configuration tool by itself, however maybe it suggests some larger problem.
Second, after creating a project (I'm following along with the tutorial doing the clk project) and adding a few files, I then need to add the DSP/BIOS configuration file (.tcf) to the project. When I go to Project->Add files to project and I get the explorer window to browse to the file to add, there is no option to add the .tcf file type, and for that matter .h files either! When I have the browser window display all of the file types, and select the .tcf file, CCS just adds it to the documents folder in the project and not the DSP/BIOS configuration folder. (It also does this for the header (.h) files).
What do y'all think could be the issue? Thanks for your help.
Chris
Hi Chris,
Did you follow the C6747 GSG?
You need to install BSP/BIOS, tem select the correct options at component manager, etc...
