CCS6.0.1 with Ubuntu 14.04

Hi,

we have been using CCS6.0.1 with the older U12.04, but now need to switch to U14.04. Has someone tested the CCS6.0.1 with U14.04 for stability? I am seeing posts on e2e ...

Is it usable for an AM335x platform?

Have you had a look at this wiki?

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Linux_Host_Support_CCSv6#Installation_Instructions

It has instructions for installing on Unbuntu 14.04. Although the AM335x is not listed amongst the boards tested, I imagine it should work fine.

Maybe others watching this forum will have something more to add.

Gunter,

CCSv6.0.1 works fine in my setup (14.04 64-bits). Just be sure to run the udev rules updater scripts if you install CCS as a user (shown in the page that Aarti pointed out).
