Ubuntu 14.04 problem with ccs6 ver 6.1.2.00015

I saw some other threads where problem with CCS App Center empty page was discussed and closed as solved. It doesn't look like it was.

I have Ubuntu 14.04.2 64bit with all patches and just recently installed CCS6 version 6.1.2.00015. On the first start up I've noticed that both CCS App Center and Welcome pages are empty. No suggested workarounds resolved problem.

I really wonder since problem is reproducible 100% , can someone from TI tools team finally fix it for good?
