Does compiler 7.4.8 installer run on Ubuntu 14.04?

Hi,

We are trying install 7.4.8 version of the compiler on Ubuntu 14.04. I got Coredump. 

Does compiler supports to run on Ubuntu 14.04?

    Does anyone have any idea why the ti_cgt_c6000_7.4.8_linux_installer_x86.bin could be producing a Segmentaion fault in this scenario?
    Running it through gdb produces:
    Starting program: /home/axxxxxxxlocal/Downloads/ti_cgt_c6000_7.4.8_linux_installer_x86.bin

    Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
    0x15f7a276 in ?? ()

    and backtracing produces:
    Python Exception <class 'gdb.MemoryError'> Cannot access memory at address 0x45f3ac63:
    #0 0x15f7a276 in ?? ()
    Cannot access memory at address 0x45f3ac63
