CCS v6 Errors on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Hello,

Today, 27/7/2015, I performed system updates on my linux distro of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. The update caused multiple SIGSEGV (Segmentation Faults) to occur whenever CCS (v6, w/ latest updates) tried to invoke system programs such as chmod,df and others. I checked what the latest system updates were and The only possible cause of the errors was an update from Linux-3.13.0.58-generic to Linux-3.13.0.59-generic. Thus I reverted back to using 3.13.0.58 via GRUB and things returned to normal, working mode. There is the possibility that that there is a break in the Linux Kernel but as no other programs have been affected, I must assume that some compatibility with CCS is the issue.

I would like to bring this issue to the attention of the CCS Ubuntu support maintainers so that they may look into it.

Cheers,

Vassilios
