Cannot update CCS 6, cannot find repository.

Trying to do an update on CCS 6.1.0.00104.  For the latest I got an XDC update which worked but the win32 did not and I got the following message.

An error occurred while collecting items to be installedsession context was:(profile=epp.package.cpp, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).No repository found containing: org.eclipse.update.feature,com.ti.cgt.tms470.5.2.win32,5.2.5No repository found containing: binary,com.ti.cgt.tms470.5.2.win32_root,5.2.5

I have had this same message for two days.  I have updated the Bookmarks XML file as suggested on your wiki. I checked with IT and we don't have any black list for eclipse.org (I could ping it just fine).

Thank you for your help

  • Hi Jim,

Could you please try the following:
Go to Help-> Install New Software
Select the Code Generation Tools update from the drop down list.
    Select TMS470 version 5.2.5.
Unselect the checkbox (right at the bottom of the screen) "Contact all update sites..."
    Continue with the update.
If this works, shut down CCS altogether, restart it. This should reset the eclipse metadata which seems to have gotten corrupted.
    Thanks
    Danish
  • Thank you this worked the update then when through.
