I see this error in CCS 6.1.1 when clicking the debug button and fleetingly again when closing CCS.
This is with a project that was created and ran fine in CCS v6.1.0 and another from CCS v5.5.

I have attached the log. (The log also shows that debug failed to connect to target, this is because I didn't have a device plugged in while I checked the error text, but the error occurs with devices correctly connected just the same).
