Blackhawk-USB200 firmware upgrade failure

All-

I'm trying to upgrade my Blackhawk XDS-200 ver 1.0.0.2 using the bat file provided in C:\ti\ccsv6\ccs_base\common\uscif\xds2xx.  The Readme.txt file specifies that the device version must be 1.0.0.4 or higher for the upgrade to 1.0.0.6, but I only have a single binary (1.0.0.6) available.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Scott

  • Scott,

This is something we have been discussing in the other thread below, but with a different model of XDS200.
    e2e.ti.com/.../486651

The major issue is that this firmware is too old to be upgradeable via USB port, therefore requiring a direct connection to the internal JTAG port (I am unsure if the Blackhawk model has one, as I don't have it).

In this case, I asked Blackhawk directly to get information on how to proceed in this case.

    I apologize for the inconvenience,
    Rafael
  • Hi,

For all following this thread, this was solved offline. The offending JTAG debugger was sent directly to the manufacturer for re-flashing.
