Same for me. I found Grace very helpful. It computes various parameters value like UART clock divisor, for example. It could be done by hand, but it is a waste of time.

On small microcontroller like msp430g2210, the driver lib is not a viable option, because of the size of linked library code.

In the thread Can't find Grace 3 in CSS App Center James Evans responded to the same question with:

Grace was removed from CCS v6.1.3 and will not be supported as a CCS plug-in in future CCS versions.

The reason why Grace will not be be supported as a CCS plug-in in future CCS versions is not stated.

As discussed in the thread below, Grace can still be found in CCS v6.1.2. Earlier CCS versions can be downloaded here.

MSP Customer Applications

James, any reason why GRACE was discontinued? Will there be a replacement tool? I don't plan to switch. The lack of a quick initialization utility like GRACE for newer MSP430s makes it hard for me to justify continuing to use the MSP430 (especially when I need to quickly prototype something).
