Real time graph plot in CCSV4.1.3 while using TMS320F28335

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335

Is there really a way to do real time mode, because when I plot a buffer, it zeroes it out in continuous refresh until the processor is halted.   Was the zeroing out issue resolved?

  • Thank you I have check the "Enable silicon real-time mode" and the graph window is working, now I am facing another problem: I have start CCSV4 and try to connect target while my TMS320F28335 board was in sleep mode. Then after that it has shown a message:

    Error connecting to the target:
    Error 0x80000200/-1142
    Fatal Error during: OCS,
Processor blocked debug accesses. An operation was attempted while
the CPU was in a non-debuggable context. To continue to honor the debug
context, press Cancel. To force debug access, press Rude Retry.

After that, I simply found out the solution that before connecting target one should not use the option of "Enable silicon real-time mode". It was running fine but when I go for the option "Full_Halt_with_Reset", the emulation is stopping but when I again want to run the program by simply pressing the run button the program is not running. For that I have to again restart the CCSV4.
  • Note that CCSv4 is quite old. Is there any particular reason why you are still using CCSv4 instead of updating to the latest versions?
  • thnx again yes I am quiet afraid of installing a new version as I am generating my code through Matlab and I have configured it with CCSV4
  • Ok, understood. Note that v4 is no longer supported. We also improved usability with real-time mode starting with the latest versions of CCSv5 which may resolve some of the issues you are seeing.
