Hi,
I am using CCS5.5 and a BlackHawk XDS100v2 USB connected to an in-house design using the TMS570LS1227PGE (Rev C) and the Ti 20pin interface.
The code i wish to program into the device falls over with the message below:
CortexR4: Flash Programmer: Error erasing Bank 0, Sector 0. Operation Cancelled.
CortexR4: Unable to terminate memory download: (Error -1003 @ 0x2BC5) Internal error: Invalid parameter passed to function. Restart the application. If error persists, please report the error. (Emulation package 5.1.232.0)
CortexR4: GEL: File: C:\Users\COL117\workspace_v5_5\Gate_Drive_Test\Debug\Gate_Drive_Test.out: Load failed.
Looking at the folder, the .out file is present with a recent build timestamp so the message is a little confusing.
The Test Connection feature in the tool shows that the JTAG connection passes all tests so I know that the MCU and JTAG emulator are communicating.
The electrical connectivity is the same as a development card which does manage to program but the only difference is the silicon revision (Rev B)
Is there a configuration setting I am missing?
PS. as the error is persisting I am reporting it as per the instruction :)
Hi,
There is a thread that mentions this exact same error. It seems to be a bug that was fixed in an upcoming release of the tools. Can you try to use a newer version of CCS?

Hope this helps,

Hi Rafael,
thanks for your reply and the link. I have been on holiday :-) hence the delay in my responding.
Part of the error appears to be to a mistake on my part due to external hardware servicing the NRST pin of the MCU.
However, I have upgraded to CCS6.1.3 and the devices now program successfully.
Best regards,
Colin
