CCS v6.2.0.00048: Invalid project path: Include path not found

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F2132

Hi!

Just did a clean RE-install of CCS v6.2.0.00048 and MSP430 GCC v4.01.00.00 (standalone version) on Linux (OpenSuSE Tumbleweed).

In the newly created and empty workspace I created a new project for an MSP430F2132 using GNU GCC as follows (click image for full size):

WITHOUT ANY changes to the newly created project, not even adding any code lines, CCS complains about

Invalid project path: Include path not found (/PATH/workspace_v6_2/test/Debug/PATH/ti/msp430_gcc/msp430-elf/include).

Here's a screenshot of the whole window (click image for full size):

The warning disappears when the project is built.

The warning reappears when:

  1. The project is closed,
  2. opened again, and
  3. the project is expanded on the top level in the "Project Explorer",

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I can reproduce this even on Windows. I will file a bug report for this and update this thread with the tracking number.

  • I filed CCSIDE-2937 for this issue. Feel free to track it using the SDOWP link in my signature.
