CCSv6 Tips and Tricks presentation refers to a "Edit Source Lookup" option which doesn't appear in CCS 6.1.3.00033

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352

The "Method #2 - Debug Context" slide 55 on the CCSv6 Tips and Tricks presentation linked on http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Debug_Handbook_for_CCS#Manual_launch refers to right-clicking in the Debug View and selecting "Edit Source Lookup...".

However, when I try that with CCS 6.1.3.00033 there is no "Edit Source Lookup..." option:

Does this mean the "Method #2 - Debug Context" slide on the CCSv6 Tips and Tricks presentation is incorrect?

  • Chester,

Thanks for reporting this. The presentation was created in the early days of CCSv6 and therefore a change to the GUI has rendered this specific slide incorrect. I will send a report to the presentation owner about this.

Regarding the functionality itself, you can right-click on the debug view and select "Edit AM3352.ccxml", select the tab "Source", the desired core in the drop-down menu and add, remove, edit as many paths as desired. A similar functionality obtained with the menu Run --> Debug Configurations.

Please check this option and see if it works for you.

    Hope this helps,
    Rafael
