CCS6.20 - Device is either 'null' error

Hi, I use CCS 6.2.0.00050 with CC3200 launchpad and MSP432 launchpad.

I use Windows 7 64bit desktop.

I've installed the "CC3200 SimpleLink WiFi", MSP432Ware, etc.

I've tried to import an example project. However, the following error message appeared.

The CCS3200 USB driver was installed correctly. What seems to be the problem?

    Hello David,

    The first thing I would like to confirm is that you have CC32xx device support installed with your CCS installation. Can you try creating a new project and checking to see if you have the CC3200 option in the list of available targets?

    I do have that option when creating a new project. However, I cannot find an option related to MSP432.

    Anyways, even though I have the CC3200 option, what seems to be the problem?

    David - Are you trying to manually import the projectspec file in the TI-RTOS for CC32xx package you downloaded from Resource Explorer? You should try importing the I2S driver example from inside Resource Explorer instead.
