CCS/TDA2EVM5777: The problem of TDA2x connection?

Part Number: TDA2EVM5777

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Dear ,

We got TDA2x evm board from Spectrum Digital.

Now we want to debug code every cores by Emulator(SW:CCS6.1.3,emulator:SEED-XDS560v2 ).

Some questions about  connection of  ccs6.1.3  by  .gel  files on TDA2x platform as follows:

1There are 14 CPU cores on CCS debug GUI after launching CCS .ccxml  configuration.

Firstly I connected Cortex-A15_0 core, but there some error information as follows:

could you tell me which factors cause this phenomenon?

In addition,I connected the others core in following sequence after connecting A15_0 with some error information mentioned above;

A15_1,ARM_ICONT1, ARM_ICONT2, M4_IPU1_C0, M4_IPU1_C1,

M4_IPU2_C0, M4_IPU2_C1,C66xx_DSP1, C66xx_DSP2,ARP32_EVE_1,

ARP32_EVE_2, ARP32_EVE_3, ARP32_EVE_4,

Except  DSP2 and four EVEs cannot be connected, the other cores can be connected normally.

DSP2: information for disconnecting

Error connecting to the target:

(Error -1180 @ 0x0)

Device is held in reset. Take the device out of reset, and retry the operation.

(Emulation package 6.0.222.0)

Four EVEs: information for disconnecting:

Error connecting to the target:

(Error -1170 @ 0x0)

Unable to access the DAP. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).

(Emulation package 6.0.222.0)

could you give me some suggestions for all cores' connection?

Thanks a lot!

BRS,

Meng

  • Meng,

Please apologize for the delay. I see you posted a similar question on the thread below.

Despite the error happens on CCS, the errors are intimately tied to the device and its intrinsic features, thus the experts in the Automotive forum will be better equipped to provide some ideas on what may be happening.
