CCS: Open Declaration or Control+Click is opening an external text editor

How do I stop this from happening?

I checked in the File Associations preferences, and the external editor in question (Notepad++) is not listed anywhere.

Hello,
In the past, have you opened a source file from the Project Explorer using an external editor (right-click -> Open With...)?

In the project explorer, 'Open With' is not even an option from the right-click menu.

In the Windows system file explorer, I have in the past used the 'Open With' to open source files using other editors.

The option is available when right-clicking on a selected file:

Judging from your response, it sounds like you have never done this.

But there seems to be some association with the external editor. Likely stored in the workspace

Can you try using a new workspace just to see if that one behaves as expected?

Creating a new workspace seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks.

Also, for the record, files under the "Include" path do not have the same right-click menu:
