Compiler/OMAPL138B-EP: Upgrading to 5.1.14 ARM compiler incompatible with xdctools version

Part Number: OMAPL138B-EP

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hi Champs,

I'm using xdstools 3_23_05_61 package and ARM compiler v5.0.11. Trying to compile ARM software with compiler version 5.1.14 instead of version 5.0.11 I have the following issue :

>> unresolved symbol IND_CALL, first referenced in
>> C:\ti\xdctools_3_23_05_61\packages\ti\targets\arm\rtsarm\lib\auto_init.ae9<auto_init.oe9>

So xdctools_3_23_05_61 package seems to need the IND_CALL asm function which is available with ARM V5.0.11 compiler but not with v5.1.14

Is it expected that xdctools and Compiler versions have a dependency?

Kind regards,

one and zero
