CCS/TMS320F28032: How the heck do you add files into a project into a specific directory

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I read the wiki on adding files, right clicked project -> add files, selected the files and it won't let me chose where to add it. Instead it's at the very bottom of the project (See picture) How the heck do you move it to the correct place!????

Hello,
You should just be able to drag and drop the files in the project explorer if the folders are not virtual ones (they don't appear to be based on the screenshot). Note that you won't be able to drag them into folders under "Includes".

If I cannot get them in the correct folder then they are not found during comping. I tried that but the need to be in the correct folder. Why can't I get them into the necessary folder?

Here is the error I keep getting with dragging.

This according to this forum means it cannot find the file

Your error is a linker error complaining it cannot resolve a symbol (LinaRegs).

Where is LinaRegs defined and did you include the object file that defines it?

The "LinaRegs" is defined in "DSP2803x_Lin.h" and in the init() function it works. Its when it is in the "interrupt void" function that is does not like it. One clue is that the "interrup" command is not in the violet color on the header file it is simply black and it should not be this color. In that function it complains. If I comment out that one and only "LinaRegs" command it compiles

The answer was that the DSP2803x_Lin.h was not defined in DSP2803x_Device.h
