CCS/MSP430G2221: Can't install MSP430ware in CCS

CCS  Version: 7.3.0.00019 

It always failed to install MSP430ware v3.80.01.01 recently after I had used it for a period to updating.

I have tried below method.

1. Uninstall and install 430ware in CCS resource explorer home page.

2. Uninstall and install CCS.

3. Download standalone 430 ware and install by default. Close CCS and open it to find and integrate 430ware. Import project from "import CCS project".

4. Uninstall and install a different 430ware version, v3.80.01.01 and 3.60.00.01

5. Delete C:\ti\msp file by manual and install again

Is there any setting should be changed by manual? Thanks.

    I see the same thing. Were you on the TI network when doing the download? I know there was an issue recently with the TI firewall partially blocking the download. I am going to setup one of my machines off the TI network and see if that makes a difference.

    I see the issue off the TI network as well. I believe there is an issue in the metadata for this software package. I am following up with the MSP software team.

    This is an issue in the MSP430Ware package. I suppose you could create a new project for G2221 using the project wizard and then add the C file that the example points to. The file has the same name as shown in resource explorer and will be in the MSP430Ware installation directory.

    I have filed a defect for this.
