Cp1252 problem

Hello ,

when i am trying to save a file in CCS V4 I am getting Cp1252 problem not able to save change text to Cp1252 encoding.

I tried changing to UTF-8 or using other options but it does not help, any suggestions anyone.

cp1252 is the default text encoding on Windows. Do you have any special characters in your aource file? Can you save the file outside the CCS editor?

no, i do not have any special characters in the source file. Yes i copied the code from the CCS V4 to a notepad file and word fileand was able to save them.

Thanks for attaching the file. I see the issue now. There are some special characters in there that is causing the problem. I'm not sure which one it is. I think it is in the comments somewhere. Anyway, if I cut and paste into notepad and then save the file in there, and then add the file to the project, it seems ok since notepad will convert the file when you save it.
