CCS: Viewing Stack Usage gives unhandled event loop exception

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

CCS gives an when trying to produce a stack usage report. The error is:

Unhandled event loop exception
java.lang.StackOverflowError


The problem is the same as described in this thread.

Please find attached the CCS error log. No .dmp file is produced. CCS version 7.2.2867..log.txt

    Hi Anthony,
    Do you get this issue with all projects or just a particular one?

    Can you provide a project test case? I don't need your actual full project, just any project that you can reproduce the issue on (the simpler the better).

    Hi Ki-Soo,

    Apologies for my late reply. I was able to view the stack report when using another project in CCS. I'm in the process of breaking down the project that gave the error by removing source files and re-testing, but the issue is still present. Is this the best way to identify the issue?

    Thank you for providing an excellent, reproducible test case. Nothing speeds up resolution of bugs like a reproducible test case so it is greatly appreciated.
