Yet another question on this thread (which I think might be filed as refid:ae2a3eee-b053-45a1-b4eb-d83850cd074b).

For an experiment, I built that cc2640r2 BLE (NOT BLE5) project zero (from sdk 2.30.0.28).  It builds and appears to flash with no errors.  However when I tell it to run, nothing seems to happen.  Also notice that the toolbar bug control has an option to flash, but never enables the resume or suspend buttons.

So is it possible to run a 2640r2 project on a 2650 launchpad?  One doc seems to suggest they are binary compatible.  But if that is not true then I'll return to the option we previously discussed - import the 2640r2 code segments into the 2650 simple_peripheral project.

    I do not know which document you refer to.
    I am pretty sure that this document does not suggest but states something.
    If 2640r2 is binary compatible with 2650 it does not mean that 2650 is binary compatible with R2.
