CCS/CCSTUDIO: Sys bios installation on Ubuntu 14.04

How to install sys/bios bios_6_73_01_01.run in ubuntu, since it complains that the command is not found.

even after giving full permission.

bios_6_73_01_01.run: command not found

    We validated the installer on 14.04. Can you give a snapshot of the window where you are running the command (and have it include the command and error output)?

    can you kindly let me know, if the command to run is just the one given below, or anything else?

    before i attach the screenshot, probably that i'm using the wrong command.

    sudo bios_6_73_01_01.run

  • Can you just try the bolded command? You should get prompted to select an install directory.

    [sanc-build05:/db/vtree/toddm/bios_install]$ ./bios_6_73_01_01.run

  • How can i change it root directory; its not allowing me, though i use --prefix /opt/ti
  • Are you wanting to change the installation directory? You simply type in the location where you want it when prompted. You might want to get a local linux expert to help you.

    I used this command, which for some reason didnt work before, worked now, to change the installation directory

     sudo ./bios_6_73_01_01.run --prefix /opt/ti/
