CCS/TMS320VC33: Can I develop tms320vc33 firmware with last version of CCS?

Hi TI experts,

We used tms320vc33 for our products. Right now we need to add new function in my device. Can I utilize last version of CCS (WIN 7) for developing firmware? How to configure them including hardware and software?

Hi Winston,
No CCS version supports C3x. You will need to use Code Composer (CC), which is the line that predates Code Composer Studio (CCS). The last version of CCv4.1, which is over 20 years old. If you need to purchase a copy, I believe Spectrum Digital handles the distribution of this: www.spectrumdigital.com/

If you have an existing license for it, let me know and I can see if I can get you access to an install image.

I have no license for it and which emulator of Spectrum Digital do I need to purchase(for WIN 7)?
