CCS: TIREX is not working on my Windows installation of CCS8.3

Hi all,

This problem started up again, now on a fresh install of CCS8.3 with exactly the same symptoms described below. I do have a lot of packages installed under c:\ti and I don't need them all. Should I try to remove some of those to see if TIREX comes back? If yes, what is the recommended way to remove these older packages? Can I just delete them from the file system or should I try to go through an uninstall process?

 

  • Sorry to hear that you are hitting this issue again. I don't think the issue is with the number of packages you have installed. I have quite a few in my directory also and cannot reproduce the problem. Assuming you went through the troubleshooting steps again, can you provide the log files as you did for your previous install?

  • Is your c:\ti installed on SSD or HDD?
    How much of RAM?
    How much of RAM available for I/O caching?
