Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

When installing the XDS110 driver the following message is displayed

"Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.

XDS110 Class Application/User UART

The system cannot find the file specified"

    Hi,

    In general the device drivers install very well on Windows, but what are the exact versions of CCS and Windows (7, 8, 10? 32 or 64 bits?).

    Also, are you using some sort of Antivirus or Firewall? I wonder if there are any issues with these blocking the proper instantiation of this device driver.

    Also, can you look at the contents of the file setupapi.dev.log (typically located under C:\Windows\INF) and see if there is anything that shows additional information about the problem?
