CCS/TMS320C6713B: On boarc codec data serially out on mcbsp

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I have a query regarding MCBsp of Dsk6713.

I want to use the on board codec of dsk6713 i-e Aic23 with MCbsp and to transfer the acquired data from codec serially to another device such FpGa. MBcsp for data must be configured in master mode for further data transmission/ reception.

If there is anything related to this then kindly share as i have been unable to find any such document that configures Two mcbsps of dsk6713 differently than Codec control mcbsp is configured in master mode while data mcbsp has been configured in slave mode.

This is fairly older device so unfortunately our expertise and support here will be limited.

Have you referred to the examples on the Spectrum Digital website for this device?

Otherwise, there may be some threads on this forum with similar issues that may provide some guidance. I've linked a few of them below.

Please note that this device is now NRND (Not Recommended for New Designs). If this is a new design, TI recommends starting development with the C6748 DSP instead.

So This means I won't b able to pin out codec's data serially on mcbsp1?? I have gone through huge literature and also to the links that you have shared. I can successfully hear the audio on headphones using on board codec and mcbsp configurations but my taks is to pin out the on board codec's data serially. Kindly help me in this regard.
