CCS/CCSTUDIO: "Failed to create the Java Virtual Machine"

All of a sudden, this message "Failed to create the Java Virtual Machine" appear when trying to start CCS 6.1. I see there was a thread in the past regarding this error but no resolution. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello Nicholas,

Did you try editing <CCS INSTALL DIR>\ccsv6\eclipse\ccstudio.ini and removing the line mentioned in the below post?

Also note that I believe CCSV6.2.0 is the first version to officially support Windows 10. I would recommend updating your CCS version.
