CCS/CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: TIRTOS Project Import Fail, Requiring'XDCtools' v3.60.999

Part Number: CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello all,

I am simply trying to use a TIRTOS example from resource explorer in order to test with the CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL. After installing TIRTOS, the CC32xx SDK, among other things, whenever I try to import the example projects into the IDE (right now I am trying to get the spislave, but I have tried others) but I keep getting the error message:

"This project requires product 'XDCtools' v3.60.999, or equivalent. Please install this product before importing this project."

However, this version of XDCtools does not exist. I have the most updated one for the CC3220 installed. I have done searching but have found no people who share this issue. How do I resolve this issue?

What version of CCS are you using? I have seen a similar error with earlier versions of CCS prior to CCSv9.0. It should have been fixed with CCSv9.0 and greater.

    Thanks

  • I just started getting this exact error message but I have 9.01.0004.

Previously it worked good but I believe that is with SDK  3.20.00.68.  Now that the SDK has updaged to 3.30.00.003, the message appears.

This is the exact text of my error message.  When I search online there appears to be no such version as 3.60.999."No XDCtools, equivalnet to the specified version '3.60.999', are available - defaulting to '3.55.0.11_core'"

Even with this message it allows me to import the example projects but the fail to compile with a problem about pin macros.
(It worked in SDK 3.20.00.68)  Can I roll back the SDK?
