I have question regarding Buetooth  module in CC2642R.

1. Is many to one topology is possible ?

2. Bluetooth libraries available alongwith SDK ?

3. Time required for delivering us SDK Kit if I place the order by 5th of jan 2020.

  • Hi Pawnesh,

    1) Yes, the CC2642R supports up to 32 connections.

    2) The TI BLE-Stack is delivered as libraries in the SimpleLink CC13x2/CC26x2 SDK.

    3) The SDK can be downloaded from here:

  • Hi Marie,

My application required to read sensor value and transfer via bluetooth.

can Launchpad ( LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1) along with SDK alone is sufficient  to use bluetooth module available in the CC2642R or we require seperate Bletooth Developer studio to configure the BLE module ?

    Happy new year !

  • Hello Pawnesh,

    Happy New Year!

You only need the SDK (linked above) and the free Code Composer Studio (CCS) to drive the BLE on the LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 LaunchPad.

I suggest going through the Bluetooth 5 labs using Project Zero in SimpleLink Academy to get started with the SDK and the LaunchPad:

    Best wishes

  • Dear Marie,

I have come across few other doubts regarding SDK CC2652R. Below I have mentioned few points as per my understanding after going through the SDK guide document.

    1. UNIFLASH is a software based  debugger tool, its licence free.

2.SDK also incude IDE ( Code Composear Studio) as a coding platform.

3.We get USB / JTAG connectors along with LAUNCHXL launchpad of CC2652R

4.SDK also incude sensor control software package.

Please confirm whether I am correct , If not Please provide the details for the same.

    Thanks & Regards!

    Pawnesh

  • Hi Pawnesh,

    1. Uniflash is available free of charge.

    2. All projects in the SDK include a version that can be built with the CCS IDE.

    3. There are JTAG connectors on the LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 board. There is also a micro usb connector for the debugger (note that the CC26x2R device does not currently support usb)

    4. Sensor Controller Studio is not included in the SDK but can be downloaded from here (free of charge):
