CCS: CCS and SDK Installation issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2652R

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi Team,

I have issue  regarding the installation of SDK CC2652R and code composer , I went through the installation guide but still face issues.

1. Which one we need to install first SDK or CCS.

2. Is it compulsory to keep default  " ti " folder as our working directory because SDK and CCS need to be installed in same directory.OR

3. We can have our own created directory in C drive.

  • The easiest way to install both is to install CCS and then to use Resource Explorer in CCS to install the SDK.

When you install CCS you can choose where you install it.  It does NOT have to be in the default location.

To install the SDK from Resource Explorer, right click on it and select Install

It will then show you want it is going to install and at the bottom it will allow you to choose where you want to install it.

If you instead install the SDK by manually downloading it from ti.com you can also choose where to install it.  However you will need to tell CCS where you installed it.  You can do that in the preferences dialog here.

    Regards,

    John
