Hi,

I used to be able to find these files at

http://software-dl.ti.com/msp430/esd/v9/updates-430/ti/binary/com.ti.msp430.ccs_header_files_root.gtk.linux.x86_64_9.1.0

but this link no longer works, and I suppose is out of date anyway since we're up to CCS10. Is there somewhere else where I can find these files.

Sorry, I should be more specific.

What I am after is the platform specific header files and link scripts as well as the targetdb files for the MSP430 MCUs.

In the CCS directory below, you can find the header files and linkers.

C:\ti\ccs1000\ccs\ccs_base\msp430\include

targetdb files are found below.

C:\ti\ccs1000\ccs\ccs_base\common\targetdb

How do I download these files without installing all of CCS? The compiler is provided as a standalone install and I need those files in the same form.

Hi,

I have been able to put this off until now by working on other projects, but I can't delay any longer. Even if you're able to just tar/zip up the `common` and `msp430` directories and post them here or email them to me that would do for now.

The directories are quite large to attach here on e2e. The easiest way is to download and install CCS. You can download it below.

Thanks for the box link, that will get me started. There was some irrelevant files but they don't matter, but it appears the `msp430/lib` directory is missing with support libraries. I'm not using any of the MCUs supported by that directory currently, but will be in a future project.

I disagree that downloading CCS is the easiest (although I suppose it being the only way makes it the easiest by default). Downloading nearly 1GiB of data just to extract (what was previously) a 7MiB package in support of a 24MiB compile tool seems wasteful.

The previous files that I was able to access were called `ti_msp430pack_header_files_setup64_8.2.0.bin` and `ti_msp430pack_header_files_setup64_9.1.0.bin` if that makes it easier for you to figure out how to find/make them again.
