Compiler: CCS

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

The Ren-F28335A DSP development card is purchased from a Chinese website without knowing that this card is not original.

I want to install the driver for the XDS510 emulator under Windows 7 32 bit or Windows 10 64 bit but without any results.

(see the attached image of the card known as REN F28335).

 Thank you for your help

  • Hi,

    I don't see from the manufacturer's product page a mention of a Debug Probe built into this development kit. Instead, I only see the mention of a JTAG connector, which requires purchasing an external Debug Probe.

    If you have an external Debug Probe, you will need to follow the instructions of its manufacturer to connect with CCSv3.3 (mentioned in your original thread).

    Since this is not a board that we (TI) manufacture, our ability to help is limited.

    Hope this helps,

    Rafael

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer, I didn't understand what you mean with the following sentence:

    " If you have an external Debug Probe, you will need to follow the instructions of its manufacturer to connect with CCSv3.3 (mentioned in your original thread). "

    I received after ordering this DSP kit the following items:
    - REN development card F28335
    - DSP Emulator XDS 510 + Cable (see attached image)

    - CD (installation) { the CD contains a driver for the emualteur but does not work (by clicking gives me the following message: file corrupted !!!) }

    - Power supply
    - USB cable

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hi,

    Thank you for sending the photograph. Indeed you have an external Debug Probe (the white XDS510 box) but, since it is not manufactured by a company that we used to support, you will have to obtain a new CD with the support files and installation instructions from the vendor that sold you the kit. Sorry.

    Regards,

    Rafael
