MTTF Values

Hi Team,

my customer needs the MTTF values for the following parts.

TXS0104EPWR, TPS54240DRCT, TPS61240DRVT, MSP430F5419AIPZ

My customer knows that he can see the MTBF values on TI.com. But his customer explicitly ask for MTTF values for non reparable components.

Hi Jan,

MTTF is just calculated from FIT rate. From the application report Calculating FIT for a Mission Profile

For the TXS0104EPWR, the TI reliability site provides:

Using the provided FIT rate and equation:

MTTF = 1E9 / FIT = 1E9 / 0.5 = 2E9 hours

For TPS54240DRCT:

MTTF = 1E9 / FIT = 1E9 / 0.5 = 2E9 hours

Same as Emrys' answer.
