I am trying to understand the statement in section 2.4.3 of TI Designs: TIDA-01487
Isolated CAN FD Repeater Reference Design.
"The asymmetric delay of 210 ns is needed to support higher CAN data rates as 2Mbps."
- Can you please explain the impact to the CAN bus if this asymmetric delay was not present?
- Does this delay line requirement change if the CAN bus is operating at a lower data rate, i.e. 500Kbps?
