How can I request TI Pspice models be added to the TI library in the Pspice for TI tool? A related question on this forum was "How to use PSpice for TI with TI models which are not included in the supplied libraries?".
I'd like to add the available TI Pspice models DAC8822, OPA2156, and ADS8471 to the library. OR if there is a way to locally import these models please let me know. Based on the previous forum looks like the only solution is to request these be added to the TI Library.
Thanks all
Hello Daniel,
PSPICE models can be downloaded directly from the Product Folder page. For example, the DAC8822:
https://www.ti.com/product/DAC8822#design-development (www.ti.com/lit/zip/sbam241)
and the OPA2156:
https://www.ti.com/product/OPA2156#design-development##design-tools-simulation (https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sbomar0)
The ADS8471 does not have a Spice model on the Product Folder page:
https://www.ti.com/product/ADS8471#design-development , and I will see if there is one planned.
I'll update this status before Friday 9/17/21 PM.
Regards,
~Leonard
For these downloadable PSPICE models provided by TI, what is the method to import them into PSpice-for-TI?
Hi Daniel,
There is a general PSPICE-FOR-TI FAQ:
and this FAQ that addresses this, I believe:
I've asked our PSPICE-FOR-TI expert to comment as well.

Thanks Leonard. Unfortunately I get the following error trying to import the DAC8822.
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for reporting that. I'll have the team responsible for this model to get it fixed.

JC
Hello,
There is not currently a planned model for the ADS8471. However, we are currently working on a new SPICE model architecture which would make the creation of models easier in the future and one could be created for the ADS8471.
