LM5576 Request for average model

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, LM5576, LM76003, LM5013, LMR38020

Hi TINA-TI Team,

I wonder if I can receiver average model of LM5576. I cannot find it in the product folder. Does this mean the LM5576 average model never exists? Then I also wonder if it can be newly generated if it's requested.

+ Per my understanding, I cannot get a bode plot (AC analysis) with the transient model which is commonly provided. Is it correct?

Thanks,

  • Hello Ella,

This device does not have an average model and is not planned to be released.

I would recommend using webench for AC analysis for this device.

The recommended device with similar power rating is now LM5013, LM76003, or LMR38020

  • Hi Marshall,

Thank you for suggestion. Still need to go with LM5576 because my customer do not want to move to a new device..

Just want you to know that LM5576 webench does not provide simulation functionality. It looks there's no way to check the stability of this device.

    Thanks,

  • Sorry, Ella. That caught me by surprise.

In that case, I would recommend utilizing the design calculator tool which computes the ideal compensation component values for stable loop.
