Hi, can anyone tell me how to calculate all the relevant parameters for a flyback transformer operating in Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM) in this datasheet ( https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidt113a/tidt113a.pdf?ts=1747297931789&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Ftool%252FPMP22087 ) and also tell me the transformer takes what amount of input voltage from llc?

Hi there,

PMP22087 doesn't have a Flyback bias supply. However, there are many topics in power supply design seminar talking about Flyback transformer design. For example, https://www.ti.com/lit/slup254.

As PMP22087 uses half-bridge LLC, the transformer sees half of the input voltage plus resonant capacitor ripple voltage.

thank you Sheng-yang Yu1 ,Can you guide me how to calculate flyback transformer parameters like number of wire turns and wire thickness for both primary and secondary windings?
