PA,
You can always do a sim export to TINA-TI for the LM5140-Q1. Simply create your design in WEBENCH® and select the Sim Export option. Select TINA-TI and the design will be created for you in a .TSC file that will include the IC model.
Hello Britt,
Thank you for your answer.
That's exactly what I tried about a month ago but there was only a PSPICE export option.
When I tried again yesterday (and today), impossible to create a webench design using LM5140-Q1 ..
Can't we have the TSC file withtout exporting a webench design ?
Thanks again,
Best regards,
PA
PA,
The preferred method for obtaining a TINA-TI model if the export in enabled is to use WEBENCH®. I understand that the panel in the product folder is having issues right now, however, you can still access your previous design from the My Designs link in WEBENCH®. Simply start WEBENCH® from any panel and look to the upper left for a My Designs/Projects link. Click there and scroll down to the LM5140 design you previously made. When you load it, you should be able to export it to TINA-TI.
If you did not have a previous design, click on the new arrow from the WEBENCH® design and enter in specifications for two output loads (voltage and current) that are within the LM5140 capabilities. When thee design list comes up, search for the LM5140 and open the design. You should then be able to export the design to TINA-TI.
If you still have issues, let me know and I will export design for your and add it to the posting. Just let me know what output voltages you want and the current loads.
