Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
Team,
My customer has the following issue.
I’m having trouble with the LM4041-N-ADJ SPICE model. If I tie V- to GND & bias V+ positive it regulates at the programmed voltage (1.5V). However, if I tie V+ to GND & bias V- negative, it doesn’t regulate. Can you help?
I’ve attached my LTSpice file & symbol.
"lm4041-n-adj" should be an .asy and "adj shunt reg" should be an .asc extension, so please change.
lm4041-n-adj.datadj shunt reg.dat
BTW, what's the best way to post these files?
Thanks,
Aaron
Aaron,
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to assist with LTSpice issues per the EULA of LTSpice.
We did take a look at the device in TINA-TI and found that is does not work correctly when the V+ node is tied to ground.. The model is an older model that uses BJT devices and I have not found a way to make the model function in this configuration.
